A joint security delegation from the Joint Operations Command, the Ministry of Interior, and the Naval Forces Command conducted an inspection visit to Al-Faw Grand Port to assess the security procedures in place and coordinate efforts to safeguard this strategic project.

The delegation was received by Mr. Abdul-Sada Khalaf Finjan, Deputy Director General for Technical Affairs at the General Company for Ports of Iraq, and Eng. Hanadi Abdul-Razzaq, Director of Al-Faw Grand Port Authority.

The Deputy Director General stated, “We provided a detailed explanation of the work mechanisms in place and the ongoing collaboration with security agencies to strengthen protection around the port and its facilities.”

He emphasized that “The security of the port is a strategic priority, particularly in light of the progress made in the construction phases.” He further noted that “There is an exceptionally high level of coordination between security agencies and the company to ensure the safety of the site and its vital facilities.”

The visit was part of government efforts to secure major national projects. The visiting delegation commended the high level of organization and security integration and stressed the importance of continuing support for these efforts.
